Bredow studied stage design with distinction with Raimund Bauer at the HFBK Hamburg and, as an ASA scholarship holder at the École des Beaux Arts Paris, studied film with Clément Cogitore and conceptual art with Àlvaro Urbano and Petri Halilaj after and while working as a stage and costume design assistant at the Thalia Theatre, Burgtheater Vienna, Scala Milan, Salzburg Festival and Schauspielhaus Zurich.
